Best Boiled Crawfish in Baton Rouge

Looking for some boiled crawfish? Here are 15 of the most popular spots in Baton Rouge for delicious boiled crawfish, including my favorites! Red Stick Life

Crawfish season is in full swing, which means most of my weekends are fully booked with spicy crawfish and cold drinks! While COVID might have put a damper on most of our social gatherings, we’re lucky to have a crazy amount of awesome restaurants in town to pick some up. So let’s get straight to the good stuff – here are 15 of the most popular spots in Baton Rouge for delicious boiled crawfish, including some of my personal favorites!

#1 : WILLIE’S RESTAURANT

My hands-down go-to in Baton Rouge for boiled crawfish! They’re seasoned well (not just spicy), the drinks are delicious, and their cheese logs could be a meal on their own. Be sure to try one of their ice cold sangrias or punch too!

#2 : TONY’S SEAFOOD

Tony’s is Louisiana’s largest seafood market, so it comes as no surprise that they would be a popular spot for seafood! On top of having killer plate lunches and deli options year-round, their boiled crawfish is some of my favorite in BR and a popular spot among locals.

#3 : PIT-N-PEEL

A true mid-city gem! Service is always amazing and the owner Vaughn is so nice. Highly recommend for both BBQ and crawfish.

CHOW YUM PHAT

You wouldn’t think a place known for it’s delicious ramen and steam buns would have some of my favorite crawfish in town, but they do! Their twist on a cajun classic includes lemongrass, garlic butter, quail egg, and edamame.

KELLEY’S CAJUN SEAFOOD

A great option for all my friends living on the East side of BR! This St. Gabriel gem is a popular spot for anyone looking to pick some up.

SAMMY’S GRILL

You can’t ask around for the best crawfish without hearing someone say Sammy’s, so I think it’s safe to say it’s a crowd favorite!

DRUSILLA SEAFOOD

Their crawfish is delicious, as is almost everything else on their menu. Oh, and they cater too!

Spicytailsbr hands down the best crawfish on the planet. Stop just promoting well established businesses, go out and try others local Boilers.

I guarantee most small local Boilers put some of these guys to shame.

Water and pepper is not boil crawfish!!!!!!!

    • Hi Tyrone! Thank you so much for suggesting your own business! I know it can be as tough to promote a small business as it is for me to find them. At the time of originally writing this post, I simply asked for suggestions from local followers and searched social media for any that had an large online presence, so it is in no way an all-encompassing list. BR is a large city after all and I am just one person. I’d love to try some this season though and will always jump at the chance to support a local business, especially ones that serve delicious food!
