Saturday, February 8: INAUGURAL Krewe of Oshun Parade in Scotlandville – noon
The Krewe of Oshun rolls out at 12 noon. The festival kickoff begins promptly at 2:00pm., immediately followed by entertainment and festivities.
The proposed Krewe of Oshun route will start at the intersection of Harding Boulevard and Pembroke Street. The parade will head west down Harding Boulevard, turn south on Scenic Highway and then turn onto 72nd Avenue, ending at Howell Boulevard.
Sunday, February 9: Mystic Krewe of Mutts – 2pm
Bark in the Park is from 10 am – 4 pm, and the parade begins at 2:00 pm.
Friday, February 14: Krewe of Artemis Parade – 7pm
Baton Rouge’s first and only all-female parading Mardi Gras Krewe!
Saturday, February 15: Krewe of Mystique – 2pm
La Krewe Mystique de la Capitale’s parade is one of the longest running parades in the city.
Saturday, February 15: Krewe of Orion – 6:30pm
The Krewe of Orion was founded in 1998 by two young men who had a love for the spirit of Mardi Gras and a desire to bring that spirit and tradition to Baton Rouge.
Sunday, February 16: Mid City Gras – 1pm
Mid City Gras is committed to showcasing the vibrant and diverse community in Mid City Baton Rouge. As a 501 c 3 nonprofit, its aim is to enrich the heart of Baton Rouge by hosting events to benefit neighborhood charities and bring the community closer together, culminating each year in an inclusive celebration of Mardi Gras season.
Friday, February 21: Krewe of Southdowns – 7pm
Saturday, February 22: Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Festival – 10am
Live Music, Food, Family Fun and Free to the Public – The event features continuous live music of various genres, dance troupes, comedy, Mardi Gras Indians, and a Vendor’s Village, visual artists, ‘Taste of Louisiana’ platters and festival food favorites. Time: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in North Boulevard Town Square.
