The days are getting hotter which means it’s officially snowball season! Grabbing a snowball is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to stay cool during our hot LA summers, but where are the best stands here in Baton Rouge?
Not to worry – I’ve got you covered! In no particular order:
Sno Man Snoballs (locations on Burbank, Perkins, and Tiger Bend)
My personal favorite (and closest to my house!), Sno Man Snoballs offers dozens of flavors and toppings, soft serve ice cream, and quick snacks. My go-to? Half sour apple, half whatever berry I’m feeling that day!
Check them out on Facebook here.
The Sno House (5522 Jones Creek Rd)
The Sno House might be the newest kid on the block, but it certainly does not disappoint. With tons of regular, sugar-free, house-made, and real fruit options along with serving up yummy New Orleans Ice Cream, you can count of this stand to be a new favorite!
Check them out on Facebook here.
Brain Freeze Delights (3813 Florida Blvd.)
Three words. Chantilly. Cake. Snowball. Stuffed with fresh strawberries, blueberries and cheesecake. Drool.
Check them out on Facebook here.
WayCool Snowballs (7020 Antioch Rd)
With dozens of flavors and topping to choose from, it’s not hard to see why WayCool is a crowd favorite. Stop by for a snowball or a snack and enjoy their large covered seating area!
Cool Tiger Ice Snoballs (5355 Jones Creek Rd)
Home to some of the craziest combinations and toppings I’ve ever seen and a dog-friendly puppy snoball!
Cool Delights (locations on N. Foster and Airline Hwy)
Simple. Classic. Always delicious. Check them out on Facebook.
Rainbow Delites (10770 N. Harrell’s Ferry Road)
Worth the usual wait, and if you get there before the line starts you’re lucky! Check them out on Facebook.
